One Thing Event
One Thing is a special event on the Texas State campus that will feature worship, special speakers, and a testimony from Texas State Quarterback Brad Jackson! One Thing will take place at 8pm in the LBJ Ballroom in the Student Center. Don’t miss out on this once-a-semester event!

Welcome Week // August 15th-August 23rd
New to Texas State? Or just wanting to find a place to get connected? Whether you’re starting your freshman year or senior year at Texas State, Welcome Week is for you. Crosstalk will host a series of events on campus throughout the week with plenty of opportunities to meet new friends, discover more of Texas State, and connect to God in new ways!

Saturday, August 15th // Burgers + Float
Buddy’s Burger’s at 6pm + River float to follow. Meet at Buddy’s Burger’s at 6pm, and head to Sewell Park after to float the river!

Monday, August 17th // Two-Stepping Night
Grab your boots and head to the top of the Pleasant Street Parking Garage at 9pm for a night of two stepping under the Texas sky. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or have never stepped onto a dance floor before, this is a fun opportunity to meet people, make new friends, and kick off the semester together.

Tuesday, August 18th // The Amazing Race
Race across Texas State University in an epic scavenger hunt filled with clues, challenges, and friendly competition. Meet at The Stallions at 9pm and wear running shoes.

Wednesday, August 19th // Sewell Hangout
Head to Sewell Park for an afternoon of sand volleyball, conversation, and community. Whether you’re jumping into a game or just hanging out, stop by the sand volleyball courts anytime between 1-4pm.

Thursday, August 20th // One Thing Event
A special worship gathering on Thursday, August 20 at 8 PM in the LBJ Ballroom. The evening will feature worship, community, and a guest speaker you won’t want to miss!

Friday, August 21st // Block Party
Free food, games, worship, and community! The Block Party will be at 6pm on the Upper Bobcat Trail (Right next to Mitte Building).

Sunday, August 23rd // Cypress Creek Church College Lunch
Good food and good conversation make a great combination. College Lunch is an opportunity for college-aged adults to connect, build friendships, and learn more about community at Cypress Creek Church. August 23 from 1-2pm at The Oaks Park. All college-aged adults are welcome.

First Crosstalk of the Semester
Crosstalk is a weekly gathering on the Texas State Campus filled with worship, a weekly message, and reaching Texas State with the Gospel. The first Crosstalk of the semester will be August 27th at the LBJ Teaching Theater @ 8pm.
